Assembly step-by-step guide
Right side
Step 1
Insert the heatbreak into the Heater Block as illustrated below:
Step 2
Mount the nozzle on the heatbreak using wrench size 8. Grip the heatbreak using pliers.
Make sure the nozzle is firmly mounted to avoid leakage.
Step 3
Screw the nozzle against the Heater block using wrench size 8.
Step 4
Cut a piece of 2-3mm PTFE tube in a length of 16mm.
Step 5
Insert the PTFE tube (cut in previous step) fully inside the heatbreak.
Step 6
Insert the Setscrew M5x6mm /w hole into the heatbreak using Allen wrench size 2.5.
The Setscrew should only apply light force onto the PTFE tube, as otherwise you would risk deforming / damaging the PTFE tube.
Step 7
Insert the HS Thermistor Assembly into the Heater block using wrench size 7.
Step 8
Insert the HS Heater Cartridge Assembly into the Heater block and lock it into position with setscrew M3x2mm using Allen key size 1.5
The Setscrew should only apply light force, in order to avoid damaging the thread inside the heater block.
