Old Forum

Very interresting that after the deletion of the old forum, also the topic with the discussion about the reasons was closed by admin.

So I tel it again. Without the tips and tricks of the experienced users there and the changes of the creatr that where included, the creatr never ould have printed ABS in a acceptable way.

And as you can see on the closed topic, this forum is very much influenced by leapfrog. So mayby the other forum at


 is a better place to post you knowledge without the risk to be influenced.

Lets see how long this will be online.

Maybe a screenshot can keep it alive.

I would also very much like to have all that information back.

Until this new forum attracts some more attention, and until it becomes readable on my browsers (the light-grey and green text is almost invisible), I will be using:

I have a dual Creatr purchased in 2012.  I found that forum extremely valuable and wish to again have access.  Surely someone could provide a link..

Filament Guide

  • Extrude at ~ 225o C.
  • Requires heated bed.
  • Works reasonably well without cooling.
  • Adheres best to polyimide tape.
  • Filament tolerances are usually tighter.
  • Prone to cracking, delamination, and wraping.

  • Can be bonded using adhesives or solvents(Acetone or MEK).

  • Extrude at ~ 180-225o C.
  • Benefits from heated bed.
  • Benefits greatly from cooling while printing.
  • Adheres well to a variety of surfaces.
  • Finer feature detail possible on a well calibrated machine.
  • Prone to curling of corners and overhangs.
  • More brittle.
  • Can be bonded using adhesives.
  • More pleasant smell when extruded.
